___Read The Signs___

Well school has yet to start and the weather has taken a turn (not for the worst) but it is not as sunny as I wanted it to be. The haze has caused some different lighting effects though. I have posted an interesting point of view of some man made elements in nature. All of these where taken on Treasure Island. WORD!! I swear this is an illustration blog, but like I said this is a visual journal of my art, and that covers a lot for me. There will me more drawings/paintings soon, but there is something about the instant gratification of digital photography. Its Private! My Neighborhood Art

I love art of all kinds. I see art in almost anything I look at. I see it in the stenciled yellow sun on the bus stop bench, I see it in the jones'n fire hydrant, and I see it the writings and art of rebellious youths. They make their mark when no one is looking. It is there for a fleeting moment before the authorities paint over it in a mismatching tone. I like it when its colorful. These pictures have been taken in San Francisco and Santa Cruz. Treasure Island Junk?

This week the weather has been beautiful. Although I s hould be working on my thesis, I have been exploring all over t he place taking pictures, and enjoying the weather. Californ ia is amazing! and so are these photos! LOL. I normally use the camera for reference for my illustrations, but I have been inspired my my good friend who is a fantastic and imaginative photographer .
